• How do I begin therapy?

Please reach out to Dr. Faust in our contact section or via his contact info in his Psychology Today profile. You can either request a free 15 minute consultation or immediately begin therapy. Dr. Faust will send you some paperwork to complete prior to the first session so that therapy can begin as quickly as possible. 

• How much does individual therapy cost and do you take insurance?

Sessions are $325 per 45-50 minute session. Many insurance companies cover a percentage of the cost of therapy sessions for out of network providers. Please check with your insurance company to see if they can cover a percentage of your session fee and Dr. Faust can send a copy of the bill you can provide to your insurance company for a reimbursement. 

• Can you provide in-person appointments?

At this time, Dr. Faust can only meet virtually using Doxy, a confidential and secure platform. Dr. Faust will send you a copy of a link to your session shortly before your appointment. Dr. Faust may be able to offer in-person appointments in the future.

• What states do I need to live in to receive therapy?

Dr. Faust can provide therapy for any client in Massachusetts or Rhode Island and can provide televideo sessions for clients in nearly any other state. Please see https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap to determine if Dr. Faust can provide televideo therapy for you (he can see any clients in the states that are in blue).

• What ages do you work with?

Dr. Faust sees clients ages 8 and older.

• How long does therapy take? 

The length of therapy depends on each clients preferences. It can be as little as a single session or as long as you'd like if you prefer a long-term model of care. If you prefer certain manualized treatments such as PE or CPT these manualized treatments typically last between 8 to 14 sessions. Please let Dr. Faust know in advance how many sessions you'd prefer in order to maximize the full benefits of therapy.
